About Arunodhaya
Established on August 6, 2006, Arunodhaya Trust® is a registered charitable institution under the Indian Trust Act, formally recognized by the Sub-Registrar of Sirsi, Uttara Kannada. Right from its formation, the Trust has consistently dedicated itself to its mission to uplift and empower communities through targeted initiatives in education, health, livelihood, and social justice.
Led by a team of five dedicated and highly qualified trustees—including doctor, advocates, Trainors, and subject experts—the Trust brings a multidisciplinary approach to service. With social resilience at its core, Arunodhaya Trust® works wholeheartedly for the welfare of the general public, especially the underprivileged, marginalized, and vulnerable sections of society.
The Trust actively organizes self-employment training programs, awareness workshops, and capacity-building sessions aimed at improving the standard of living for weaker sections. In addition, it strongly advocates for human rights, providing legal aid and support to victims of atrocities, injustice, and discrimination. Through these efforts, the Trust plays a vital role in ensuring dignity, access to justice, and equal opportunity for all.

Operational Reach
Arunodhaya Trust® extends its operations across all taluks and villages of the Uttara Kannada District in Karnataka—a region known for its abundant natural resources and ecological diversity.
The district is characterized by dense forests, perennial rivers, and a 140-kilometre-long coastal stretch, making it one of the most environmentally rich regions in the state.
For administrative and developmental purposes, Uttara Kannada is broadly divided into two major agro-climatic zones:
1. Coastal Plains – covering the taluks of Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, and Bhatkal
2. Malenadu (Hilly) Region – comprising Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur, Dandeli, Haliyal, Joida, and Mundgod
Through its grassroots presence in both coastal and interior taluks, Arunodhaya Trust® is actively involved in implementing community welfare programs tailored to the unique needs of each region.
